Residential/Second HomeAusable Run-Ausable Run, comprising 200 acres in the Lake Placid, New York region, was purchased from a Vermont lending institution and re-permitted with the Adirondack Park Agency (APA) into 14 unique homesites. The project was successfully developed after two unsuccessful attempts by previous developers and is now complete with homesites sold subject to carefully crafted covenants and restrictions. Whiteface Meadows-Whiteface Meadows, comprising 360 acres in the Lake Placid Region, was successfully developed into 21 single family homesites surrounding 205 acres of land dedicated for passive recreation and controlled by a homeowners association. ACO has retained a select number of home sites. Whiteface Overlook-5 acres of prime land located across from Whiteface Ski Mountain, home of the 1980 downhill Oylmpic Ski events. ACO is currently exploring residential redevelopment opportunities which include a select number of attached housing units.
